Abstract
Freedom of expression and artistic freedom are human rights. Sometimes artists are also human rights defenders. This concept emerges in connection with Soviet dissidents. They used the clandestine self-publishing system of censored works known as Samizdat. Self-publishing was done with a typewriter and carbon paper, typing the banned book. Cc are the abbreviation of an email header meaning carbon copy. This artistic research and installation titled -Cc: Carbon copy- embody the process of a dissident when typing a censored book.
