Creació ciutadana distribuïda : performar la creació col·lectiva des de les Institucions de Barcelona

Abstract

La pràctica de la crítica institucional de les darreres dècades ha aportat un coneixement de la institució de l’art (dels seus modes de producció, distribució, exhibició i de les ideologies establertes) que no s’ha donat en el camp del disseny. Analitzant les implicacions dels processos de creació en vinculació al seu hàbitat més immediat, aquest treball pretén iniciar un examen crític de les institucions del disseny qüestionant el rol de l’estudi. Amb l’objectiu de promoure la transformació i la connexió del disseny amb altres àmbits socials, proposo una nova organització ciutadana dedicada a la creació col·lectiva.

The practice of institutional critique of recent decades has provided a knowledge of the art institutions (its modes of production, distribution, exhibition, and established ideologies) that has not been given in the field of design. Analyzing the implications of creative processes in relation to their most immediate habitat, this article attempts to initiate a critical examination of design institutions by questioning the role of the studio. With the aim of promoting the transformation and connection of design with other social spheres, I propose a new citizen organization dedicated to collective creation.
